Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Driver In Montgomery County

Police have identified the pedestrian struck and killed by a Honda driver in Montgomery County earlier this week.

The collision occurred on the 9500 block of Georgia Avenue around 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, Montgomery County Police said.

A gray 2020 Honda CR-V was heading northbound and struck Khalid Shakir Scriven, who was in the roadway near Flora Lane.

Scriven, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remain on scene and cooperated with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
